What is the going rate for a Full-Time Nanny?Currently the market rate for a nanny in the Milwaukee area is $22-$25/hour. There are many different factors to consider when paying your nanny. How much childcare experience does your nanny have? Is your nanny responsible for any household chores? All of these things should be considered when determining what you are going to pay your nanny.
How long does it take to match a family with a nanny? We are a personal nanny placement agency, meaning we meet every family and nanny face to face. We pride ourselves on the high quality of nanny candidates vs a high quantity. Typically our placement process is completed within 3-6 weeks.
What does your vetting procedure include?Every nanny that works with Olive You Nanny Mke will complete an in-depth application and go through a thorough face to face interview with one of our placement specialists. After a candidate has successfully completed their application and interview process, their references are contacted. With glowing references, the candidate is then introduced to a family. Once a family is ready to officially hire a nanny, a complete background check including driving record is performed.
What benefits should I offer my nanny?Industry standard benefits for a full-time nanny are 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, and paid holidays that fall on a regular work day. Some families will also offer a monthly health insurance stipend and/or a gym membership.
